Stanton ST-150 Turntable with Cartridge
1. The playback options are countless!
It may play sets from 16rpm in order to 80rpm . This means I could play my personal “Library of Congress” information, as nicely as my personal “Diamond Disks, ” with the proper stylus and cartridge setting… no issue! I can also transcribe all of my old acoustic Victors and Columbias at their correct speeds.
2. I are able to use any stylus We wish!
I am currently utilizing two diverse stereo buggies: an ELAC STS-444, and the 1983 Pickering TLE. I am also employing a Sure M78S with regard to my mono 78rpm wants. The neat thing about the particular M78S cart is… I may swith out there the N78S stylus for the N25C stylus when playing my personal mono 45rpm information! (Furthermore, there is a number of styli available for 78rpm groove width to fit this cartridge.)
3. It just plain functions! Remember the term “workhorse with the industry? ” This particular table is one of those “workhorses! ”
If you want a turntable that may do anything at all, this could be the one for you personally! It’s not really a Rondine, so do not expect it to enjoy your 14″ Pathe disks or your 16″ stereo trascription disks, but… it’ll do almost anything else! I totally love mine, and in case you are lucky enough to get one… you’ll love it as nicely!
